What is VIPE™?
VIPE™ (Variable Intensity Pulse Emission) is reseen’s light technology for at-home hair care. It uses VCSEL laser emitters instead of standard LEDs, so light stays focused as it travels to the scalp instead of scattering across your hair. VIPE™ powers HALO, our cordless hat liner, and WEAVE, our light-therapy comb.
What is VCSEL?
Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser.
A small semiconductor laser that emits a narrow, directional beam straight from the chip surface. The same chip technology is used in LiDAR, facial recognition and fiber-optic networks.

Chip-level engineering
Built around the chip.
Most light devices start with the shell and add LEDs. We started with the VCSEL chip and designed HALO and WEAVE around it, so the light is focused and stable, and fits inside something you’d actually wear.
A thoughtful routine starts with safety.
Use with care
Use with care. VCSELs are low-power lasers. Never look into the emitters or point the device at your eyes. Don’t use it on broken or irritated skin, or if you’re photosensitive. If you’re pregnant, under medical care, or have a scalp condition, ask your doctor first.
